An Economical Survival Knife!

Just like its big brother (Bushman), for the money, the Mini Bushman may very well be the strongest survival/outdoor knife in the world! Unlike most hollow handle survival knives, there is no joint or seam between the blade and handle that requires a mechanical fastener. Instead, the Mini Bushman's blade and integral handle have been expertly cold forged out of a single piece of 2.5mm thick SK-5 high carbon steel. The resulting knife has been heat treated and tempered to RC54 and when subjected to factory tests, has withstood over 2 tons of pressure on its blade/handle transition point without failure!

Every Mini Bushman blade has been carefully ground to an extra thin edge, and then honed and buffed by hand until razor sharp.

Re-sharpening is easy. Just give it a few licks on a butcher's steel when it starts to fade and it will "pop back" sharp as ever. And for those without a steel, the Mini Bushman's SK-5 high carbon blade can be easily and quickly restored on any stone or popular re-sharpening system.

When it comes to versatility, the Mini Bushman offers two advantages: One is its hollow handle which will accept survival supplies or a variety of handle extensions which can maximize reach, leverage, or ease of throwing. The other advantage is its broad, thin, continuously curved blade, which is ideal for skinning (plenty of belly), and will pierce, cut, slash, slice, and shear like you won't believe.
