The old standard is obsolete. The new INOVA X1 outperforms existing mini-flashlights by projecting a constant, non-dimming, optically pure light up to 65'. None in its class is brighter; none delivers its consistent, peak beam quality. Like the larger INOVA X5 ® , the X1 is a synthesis of design vision, stringent engineering standards and world-class LED technology, but in a sleek barrel shape just 3.9" long by .72" in diameter. Easily trans-ported in or attached to clothing or gear, the X1 extends the INOVA versatility spectrum.

Smooth operator
The X1 features a patent-pending, three-mode switch-cap that enables easy, one-handed control for momentary and constant on/off light with no chance of accidental activation in transport. The cap’s .156" diameter opening permits use of a parachute cord lanyard. 

Shine on 
Activating the X1 sets in motion a finely engineered sequence of events culminating in a perfect circle of peak brilliance. Switch-to-piston pressure joins the supplied AA alkaline battery to an intelligent power regulator that steps up battery voltage for constant, maximized light emission up to 10 hours. A patent-pending light chamber directs diode-generated light to an anti-reflective, double-coated glass lens that concentrates this energy into a potent beam. With its 65' effective range, 1-mile signal visibility and operational range of -40° to +50° C, the X1 is the optimum light machine in its class.

Tough world — tougher flashlight 
Rugged enough to withstand being run over by a car, the X1’s demonstrated hardiness clearly indicates how it takes on any real-world encounter. The X1’s patent-pending optical module defies high-stress environments with a recessed lamp/lens assembly that is sealed with double O-rings and encased in a stainless steel head. All critical mating surfaces are held to ±.0005" tolerances. In fact, every X1 attribute, including its aircraft aluminum hard-coat anodized body, waterproof construction and inexhaustible piston mechanism, is a testament to extreme reliability.
