The over-center cam/spring design holds the folder securely closed. When either of the dual thumb studs is rotated outward approximately 30 degrees, the Tailwind™ instantly rotates the blade to a full open and locked position.

The ergonomic Teflon® bushings at the blade pivot help make the action smooth and extremely fast.
